Pole Sports
WHAT DIVISION DO I CHOOSE?
Divisions are based on your pole as well as your previous competitive experience. Below are the different divisions but please see the Code of Points for more details and exclusions:

Amateur - Athletes who have basic experience and who are able to choose elements only with lowest technical values, may apply to participate in the Amateur division.

Professional - Athletes who have a good amount of experience and who are able to choose elements with higher technical value may apply to compete in the Professional division.

Elite - The Elite division is for top athletes who are able to choose elements with the highest technical value, and who strive to compete with other top athletes and become a part of their national team to represent their country.

Categories are based on your age and gender. Please choose from the following:

Pre-Novice (6-9)

Novice girls (10-14)

Novice boys (10-14)

Junior girls (15-17)

Junior boys (15-17)

Senior women (18-39)

Senior men (18-39)

Master women 40+

WHAT DO I DO NOW?
If Pole Sport is the choice for you, there are a few things you should know:

Read the code of points (take the IPSF course - it is your responsibility to follow the code; if you are unsure, find a certified IPSF coach in your area or online to help you)

Follow point allotment for your division

Must follow pole sport rules and regulations (please read them all)

Must submit a compulsory score sheet prior to competition

Must submit a technical bonus score sheet prior to competition

Only Elite can qualify for world championships
